Elizabeth “Liz” Spivey, grandmother to Marcus Maye (both pictured above), was the heart and soul of their family’s Thanksgiving tradition. Every year, without fail, she would open her home to the entire family, filling it with an abundance of food. Her Thanksgiving dinners were not just about the food, but about the love, warmth, and togetherness that she fostered. In her honor, the Marcus Maye Foundation will be providing 50 free Thanksgiving meals to those families in need so that the spirit of Liz can carry on for generations to come.
